Offering Piano and Music Composition Lessons in Winnetka, Canoga Park, West Hills, and the San Fernando Valley CA;
GRAMMY®-winner Danaë Xanthe Vlasse (www.danaevlasse.com) is an MTNA Nationally Certified Teacher and award-winning composer with a degree in Piano Performance, and over 15 years of teaching and composition experience. Education: Baccalaureate, Summa Cum Laude, 2003; emphasis in applied piano, with the voice as secondary instrument. Supplementary studies: Moores School of Music, University of Houston. A select group of Mrs. Vlasse's compositions are published by bpr music, and she is an artist on the MSR Classics and Cezanne labels.

Mrs. Vlasse is dedicated to providing an environment that promotes the highest potential of each student. The focus of lessons is on musical knowledge, technical precision, and artistic expression. These goals serve the purpose of fostering a lifelong enjoyment of music. She is a STEINWAY educational partner and recipient of the 2021 STEINWAY TOP PIANO TEACHER AWARD.

Offering Voice Lessons and Choral Conducting in Concord CA;
Dr. Michael Conran is a very versatile conductor, performer, and teacher, with experience ranging from university to pre-school levels directing most types of choirs. He has had his choral reviews published several times in the American Choral Director Journal. He has been the director for numerous Honor Choirs and has served on the New Jersey Governor’s School audition committee. Dr. Conran recently returned to California from Alabama where he was the Director of Choral Activities at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. He has worked with the San Francisco Visual and Performing Arts and is currently the associate music director at First Lutheran Church in Concord, CA.

As a teacher and mentor it is my duty and privilege to awaken within the students under my charge the desire for knowledge and an awareness of their own unique potential and talents, as well as to provide them with the skills necessary to succeed in their future. In my chosen field of music, I can find no greater reward than instilling in my students a love for their art and a respect for their own creative nature.
